Commercial Sprinkler Cleanup

This commercial property had a sprinkler head break around 7PM, causing a significant amount of water damage to multiple floors.  Sprinkler water commonly turns black while sitting stagnant in pipes, which is why the residue can be very oily (seen in this before picture) and have a strong odor.  In this small section of the affected area, you can see that the sprinkler water caused significant damage to cabinetry, counter tops, drywall, flooring, and machinery.  Due to our timely response, we were able to limit damage and save many of the building materials.  SERVPRO also brought in an electronics expert to restore the 3-in-1 copier, along with other small electronics.  The commercial company decided to use their own maintenance techs for final repairs on the drywall, but they were thrilled with SERVPRO's response time which helped limit the damage.
